ALBJ Foundation Grant Application

Application Submission Deadline is: September 1st, 2026

Eligibility:

Must be 18-26 years of age
Must Live in Cook County, IL
Be enrolled in a certification or trade school
Minumum 50% Completion of your Program
Completed 20 hours of Community Service
Not be a past ALBJ Foundation scholarship recipient
Must attend scholarship award ceremony

Submission Requirements:

Submit an essay on the following topic: Describe your career path and how would receiving this grant makes a meaningful impact on your ability to pursue your goals in the next year.
Submit a Recommendation letter from an school administrator having them verify you are currently enrolled and have completed at least 50% of your program
Submit Proof of Completed Community Service

*Submissions will not be accpeted without both the essay and reccomendation letter attached
